Finding Spanish Property for sale
Finding Spanish Property for sale can be fraught with difficulties. There are many nightmare stories periodically spread across the press. With more and more people now searching the internet for property it comes as a welcome change to find a site attempting to raise the bar when it comes to standards. AMLASpain, The Spanish Property MLS is a Multiple Listing Service for Estate Agents wanting to share their property portfolios with each other, thus increasing the choice available to their clients. They do this under the umbrella of a Code of practice that AMLA willingly admit they have ’half-inched’ from the NAEA, The UK’s National Association of Estate Agents.

"When I was setting AMLA up I realised that most of what was in the NAEA’s Code of Practice came from US Federal Legislation that I had come across whilst studying for my Real estate Licence" explains Neil Ebsworth, the co-founder of AMLA, who with his wife who is American have attempted to introduce a US style MLS into the Spanish Property Market

" The idea was to take the best from the training and education found in the states along with the MLS concept to provide a low-cost service that would benefit both Agents and Clients alike. The MLS makes the whole process of finding a correctly priced property more efficient. It effectively creates a ’Perfect Market’ where all Agents buyers can come together in one place and co-operate"

This week sees the launch of AMLA’s Spanish version of the MLS, AMLA Casas launched with the intention of introducing the concept to the domestic market.
